Creating your Creator

Abiding in a peace I’ve never felt before
Feeling complete and able to settle the score
I tried to give you a warning but you wouldn’t hear
You continued to beat me down and try to fill me with fear
Now closer to being hole I stand and confront this
But I refuse to repay the favor because my anger is now His
So again I warn you take all your pride and throw it away
Cause living inside of you it kills you more every day
And feeding on others is beginning to eat at you
The pain you deal out and emptiness inside will kill you to
So hands pierced by your lies offer you a hand
Take my offer and together we can stand
For the heart you tried to murder lived through the pain
And the spirit you tried to put out will always remain
So now you see your attempts to hurt only made us strong
Because we now those who stand the tallest wont last long
For their time is only for a season and ends in a broken life
And they’ll refuse to except this cause it was their own strife
But our compassion goes out to you so we will allow you to stay
To stay with your creation for you have made us this way
