NBA Play-Offs: Who do you think will win it all?
And who are you rooting for? Personally, I am rooting for the Suns, Mavericks and Pistons. Mainly for the Pistons, though. I believe my Pistons will win the whole thing, but they'll be challenged by Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals, and again in the Finals by either the Suns, Mavs or Spurs. My predictions for the Eastern and Western Conference are:
Eastern Conference Finals: Detriot Vs. Miami Prediction: Detroit in 6 Western Conference Finals: Spurs Vs. Suns Prediction: Suns in 7 NBA Finals: Detroit Vs. Suns Prediction: Detroit in 7 Of course, the Mavs have a good chance at going to the Western Conference Finals, and perhaps even to the NBA Finals. But those are my picks. Go Mavs, Pistons and Suns!

If the celtics won, that would make my life. The patriots, redsocks, AND celtics within a year would be crazy.........but I'm thinking that detroit will win again.

I want Detroit to win and I think they will win.
I really wish that the Tians were good in the NFL. Because if they were, all of my favorite teams would be title contenders (Pistons, Yankees, Titans). Dang you Tennessee. Anyway, I think the Suns are gonna come out of the west and then run into Detroit, where they suddenly learn what a defense REALLY plays like, and they get beaten into a pulp. Or at the very least, beaten. lol GO PISTONS!

mine are lol... Rams, Cardinals.... haven't really had a supreme NBA favorite since MJ retired (from the Bulls, that is; i didn't care when he went back to Washington... which, come to think of it, is ironic, b/c those 2 teams are playing 1st round). but, i've been partial to the Kings, Spurs, Magic, Pistons. but I guess the Bulls are always gonna be my favorite.

Hey, the Titans are good.....they just had a down year last year. I'm confident they'll be back again this year or possibly next year. We just need an NFL title. You like the Yankees? I kinda do as well. I'd consider myself a minor fan of them, though I prefer the Tigers. But you've seen how much they've stunk in the last 10 years, so when it's playoff time, I almost always find myself rooting for the Yanks. You're talking to a huge Pistons fan here, lol. They're tied with the Titans as my two favorite Sports franchises. I've watched every game this post-season, just as I did last post-season. When everyone said they'd get whooped by the Lakers, I was the only person I know that said they'd beat the Lakers in 5 or 6. I just knew they'd do it. Billups is my personal favorite on the team, though I also really like 'Sheed, Tayshaun, Ben and Rip. Really, I like every player on the team. Yeah, I agree, the Suns will meet their match in the finals. I'm a fan of Nash, so it was refreshing to see him win the MVP. I thought he was quite deserving of it. I feel bad for the Mavs, though, as they're another one of my favorites. Nowitzki is an excellent shooter and is now a superstar in the NBA. He's one of my favorites as well. He deserves to go to the Finals, but only one team from the West can go and it'll be the Suns. I just hope for Dirk's sake, that the Suns don't thrash the Mavs too much. Wouldn't want him to look too bad. [quote=uncertaindrumer Oh, and by the way Titan... You have got some DANG good taste in sports teams...[/quote] Lol, thanks. You definitely do as well.

Ya know, I'd LIKE to think the Titan jsut had a bad year last year... but I am rather pessimistic with the Titan because it seems that everytime something can go wrong... it DOES. (Has anyone noticed them getting injured more than any other team in the league the last couple of years? I mean, they lose their place kicker for the season TWO YEARS IN A ROW?)
As for basketball... I'm not even sure the Suns will GET to the Finals, the way the Spurs have been playing, but I really hope they do. Best offense versus best defense would just be so awesome.

Hmm, well I was completely right on the Eastern Conference side, but wrong on the Western Conference side. As I said in another, similar thread, the Pistons will win the NBA Finals in 6. Mark it down.

Pistons have tied it up ...I wish the games were closer together. I hate having so many days in between.
