life can be so cruel
everyday children die on Earth
it seems we don't wanna reach higher
it seems we really don't care
the question is how much we wanna sacrifise

how many killing
happens before our eyes
how long before we see
how much our souls die
but it seems we can not cry

I don't know
what we will become
why we can not seem to give
what's the meaning of life
what's the world we live in

so much suffering we justify
sometimes it gets too hard
it's Hollywood we can live with
but hungry children are
the last thing on our minds

future will show
how much the Earth bleeds
nuclear warfare will bring us to our needs
the future seems to matter so little
it's hard to believe

we claim we have mercy
but killing animals means nothing
sometimes I wonder
what is our real religion
a religion where killing is normal?

our ways of life bring us cancer
because we're forgetting what's natural
and we're destroying natural habitat
so much proof we are shown
that nature is the answer

we have fast cars
we have the life
we feel like we win
but there's hunger and emptiness
in our souls within

to have no fear
you need real faith
to have faith you need to care
to have eternal life
means to feed the soul

to live means to die
is that all we can do
someday we'll realise
to bring this world to harmony
is the only road to paradise
