Smashing Pumpkins

Hey there, anyone else a Pumpkins fan? I sure am, they were one of the best 90's groups around... Also they are in the studio working on their first album in 7 years

Re: Smashing Pumpkins

I am. I love em. Didn't like Adore that much though. Was Billy able to get the original lineup? (besides the first drummer)

Re: Smashing Pumpkins

I have never been a pumkins fan, nor will I ever be

Billy Corgan cin write lyrics I'll give him that He can also produce but he has no business in fron of a microphone he can't sing to save his life.

He did a great Job working with Breaking Benjamin on "We are Not Alone" and he has written some good songs for other artists but the pumkins died years ago and should stay that way IMHO

Re: Smashing Pumpkins

What's funny is Billy admits that he can't sing. He knows he can't sing... people just liked their music so much that they became popular even though he sounds really bad.

Re: Smashing Pumpkins

I bought their cd "GISH" it was around 1990. I read a review on them in a car stereo magazine. I've been hooked ever since and I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the new cd...........and AB's too.

Re: Smashing Pumpkins

You should man. Check out Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Gish, and Siamese Dream. They should be staples in any rock fans collection. Stay away from Adore. It sucked.
