To rune and hide_tremonti and other guitar players
What are the easiest Creed songs to play?
Could you make a rank? I can play only One last Breath, WTLF and DSD...

well for me, i learned WTLF first, so that's probably the easiest.
Other songs that aren't too hard: Torn, My Own Prison, One, With Arms Wide Open (if you can do olb, you can do this no problem), Never Die, Wash Away Those Years (bridge might be a challenge depending on how good you are, but it's not that hard), My Sacrifice, To Whom It May Concern I'm actually best at the finger picking songs, i like them a lot too. My Own Prison will take a little time to get the hammer ons to sound good, but once you get the motions down it's no problem, plus it sounds cool hehe. Ode also isn't too hard, but it's like the next step up from the ones above. Hope this helps

Good! Thanks a lot!
Itīs hard for me to set the DADADD tunning...it doesnīt sound like it should, so first Iīll keep the standard or drop-d... I tried to play Higher but I canīt play it yet

don't worry about the Open D tuning until you can play most of the other songs that are in standard and Drop D.
I didn't even touch Open D until recently, and it's hell on your G string, so i wouldn't rush into it. Oh yeah, free advice : Do NOT, i repeat, do NOT try to tune to Open D more than once on a cheap acoustic......i have welts....many many welts lol. The first open D song i did was My Sacrifice, but imho, i think it actually sounds better in Drop D if you know how to play it right. My favorite Open D song that has to be that way to sound good (i can play it in Drop D as well, but it's really hard to do the changes and keep in tempo), is Weathered.

To mean, DSD would be the easiest to learn. Simple beginning, simple chords, easy to remember solo.
Higher I haven't found tabs that are correct, so I can't comment. OLB is what I'm working on now, its fairly simple. I'd like to lear Ode soon. ________ ZOLOFT LAWYERS Last edited by Marty : 09-17-2011 at 12:30 PM. |

Beginners:
Torn My Own Prison What's This Life For One What If Wash Away Those Years With Arms Wide Open My Sacrifice Hide Don't Stop Dancing Lullaby Intermediate: Ode Illusion Wrong Way Higher Bullets Advanced: Pity For A Dime Stand Here With Me One Last Breath (Playing every single note to OLB is pretty hard.) I couldn't be stuffed to rank all Creed songs...LOL. Most of them would be in the intermediate though. |

I play every note from OLB... although that part 3h5p3p2, it sounds weird on acoustic, I canīt do it... so I play 3h5 3h2...
But, lol, it took me almost like a month to learn it... And I did it all by myself! Thatīs something Iīm proud! I worked really hard on OLB! Right now Iīm trying to learn WTLF intro!
