please take a moment of silence
it was one year ago today when rock star 'dimebag' darrell abbott was shot and killed by nathan gale at the alrosa villa nightclub in columbus ohio as damageplan was performing.
also killed that fateful night one year ago were audience members nathan bray (23) and erin haulk (29), and jeffery "mayhem" thompson (40), head of damageplan security. many others were injured including dime's brother, damageplan drummer vinnie paul. in the blink of an eye seems like minutes as the years fly by in the blink of an eye afraid to stop because i can't stop time that's just how fast your life can chage in the blink of an eye everything's erased --damageplan (blink of an eye) i think what vinnie paul said best sums it up... i saw how loosing dime affected my brother, he was a well love guy.
hope hes rockin out where ever he is now
