Day dreaming

Silently I gaze out my window.
Lost in thought of the good old days.
Wandering about when the good old days
will be the days of tomorrow or cease to ever come again.
Stains of the past fall like the rain in my head.
Remebering the good times and the bad.
Memories dancing around me.
As I fall back into the world where everthing
I've ever known is all around.
Lost in a day dream of memories.
It seems as though being in a dream
is longing for something unreal.
But in day dreaming of beloging memories of your own,
its seems as though you are not dreaming but living.
Day dreaming has been bestowed upon us,
a gift none the less.
Lost in a sea of day dreaming and remebering.
Am I still day dreaming?
A noise outside the window awakens me
from my day dreaming.
I look around remebering where i am.
Suddenly I realize I was just dreaming,
Shaking the dreams from sight
I come back into the light of reality.
I am the day dreamer awaken but still dreaming.
