Yes... but you have to ask yourself why you're attracted to the person you're in love with... granted just because you masturbate and look at porn doesn't mean you won't settle for someone that's less attractive than a pornstar... but i really do think that I looked at women in a totally different way b4 i began to masturbate and look at porn. First of all, Jesus never harmed His temple. As I recall it, He was without sin, and I don't remember the part where He nailed Himself to the cross. Second of all, the martyrs died for God, they don't harm themselves. (D.C. Talk have a couple of good books on martyrs called Jesus Freaks I highly recommend).
As for the false prophets remark, I agree, and I'm not saying that you guys are not right on this subject. If I make an offer of peace are you gonna call me the Antichrist, too?

Did Jesus die unwillingly, then? I seem to recall when He told Peter
that he could summon a host of angels at any given moment, but He

I have skimmed the first Jesus Freak book, I'm aware of what you are

i believe God created human and granted the body a defence mechanisim..........once i got a wound off a rusted nail on my heel.......and the place of the impact got filled with all that crap.....for sometime it hurted like hell....but when the spore busted..........and all the crap flew out..........the pain was instantly gone...........see......that was a defence mechanisim of hte body.......... the posioin of the rusted nail was thrown outta body................by the body itself.........if that wanst the case....i might have died (without medication) of just a rusted nail..........

I believe it is a sin. I think it is a sin because in order to do it you must lust in your mind. The bible teaches that you can commit adultery in your mind. It doesn't have to be physical. That being said, I believe that God lays on hearts different sins when he knows we are ready to tackle them. When we are just beginning as a Christian he may show us certain sins in our life but as we grow he begins to show us more and more of the sins in our life. I believe he only shows us when we are ready to try to tackle that sin. For example, my preacher said that when he became a Christian he still loved the have a Beer. It wasn't until a year or 2 after he became a Christian that God revealed that this was sin to him. Not because he was consuming alcohol but because it may have an influence on someone else who struggles with alcohol. Up until God showed this to him it was not a sin. I drink alcohol still and God has not chosen to show me that it is a sin in my life yet. I do believe that God has chosen to show me that masturbation is a sin in my life. It is a hard thing to tackle. I think that sometimes it can have a negative affect on your marriage too. I think when you lust after other women it can have an affect your attraction to your wife. The less I do it the more I find my wife sexually attractive.
