Ben Moody switches Amy Lee for Avril Lavigne

After quitting Evanescence in the middle of the european tour, guitarist Ben Moody joined Avril Lavigne. Avril's board says he's joining her on the next album, but Ben confirmed he only wrote a couple songs with her.

i read that the lead singer for Our Lady Peace (Raine Maida) is producing a few songs for Avril's cd

Ahhh, now the truth comes out. He's in this for the money. Wasn't making enough with Evanescence, so he goes to Avril. Problem is, Avril has been shown to just plain SUCK. The girl can't sing. Her band pretty much sucks too. He's 30 something almost right? Avril isn't even 21, that just would look odd for a old guy to be playing in a teeny bopper punk wannabe band...

yea, Raine Maida is also helping Avril on her next album. I was kinda anticipating to hear the next Avril CD when i heard Raine was going to be there, now that Ben Moody is there.... i dont want to soo much now.....

What is he thinking? He could have at least had the intregrity to go and playing in a smaller band or forming his own band, even a supergroup if he wanted. This is purely a money-making exercise I don't think Amy will miss him too much anymore.

Well, 1- I dont necessarily think that Avril makes more than Evanescence has. 2- he is only doing a couple songs that doesnt mean that he is joining her full time, and 3- he is one of the more talented guitarists out there so why not help some other musicians out. (and the Avril sucking thing, well so has Amy Lee as of late-or so i've heard)
