and the excuse is
I embrace the dark

but then I see you

you fight for the tears
of those unheard
you chase away their fears

the sanctuary of those
who are given
those who never really had a chance

we need this

to bleed out the pain
because we deny the stain
we deny the poison rain
we deny the chains
