i'm reminded of a song.
Tool - Lateralus Black then white are all i see in my infancy. red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. lets me see there is so much more and beckons me to look thru to these infinite possibilities. as below, so above and beyond, I imagine drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend. over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving opportunities behind. Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line. Reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrace whatever may come. I embrace my desire to I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow to feel inspired to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral to swing on the spiral to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I move myeslf between the sounds and open wide to suck it in. I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out. I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me. what ever will bewilder me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Spiral out. Keep going. Methinks you need to take the songs advice. I live by this song.. it's deeper than you think. -J

Me thinks you are a little too big for your britches. Arrogance is so unbecoming. You would get further with your mission to *educate* us all if you weren't so pompous. It's a real turnoff.

Do you have any compassion? Regardless whether or not you believe in what the military and government policies say, you should still feel some compassion for those who ARE willing to risk their ass for you.
It doesn't matter if you are supporting the military actions in Iraq / the Middle East or not, you should still support the lives of those men and women who are trying to protect yours.

I disagree wholly with the country they are fighting for.. so therefore.. why should i feel any compassion? yes, i feel sorry for their families and such, who had no part in it, but to the people themselves, no. if you wanna go die for a corrupt government, be my guest.

Why do you live in this country then? If this country's government is so currupt, and obviously you have no compassion or sympathy for those who are willing to die for your freedoms, why not move? How about you fly over to Iraq and live there for a week? Hop on over to Cuba...
The problem with you is you are too concerned about petty things, you fail to realize what you really do have in this country. Yes, the government does things that some people approve and some disapprove of. Just because you don't approve of what the government does, does not mean that you cannot feel compassion for those who do. Your "open-mindedness" that you preach all over the place seems to be fading away. If you are as open-minded as you say you are, then why can't you feel compassion for those who think differently than you? You are basically putting down those who believe differently than you, which is a total 360 from what you were preaching over on the C-F board about trying to get people to open up their minds. As someone has said earlier, get over yourself first, then preach your "open-mindedness"

why do i live in this country? i was born here, and have no choice. there are a lot of places i'd rather live. Canada, sweeden(direct democracy), Brunei(good luck getting in...) etc.
And if i'm a coward for not wanting to die, than so are you, and so is every other creature ever on the face of the planet. -J

Hah, don't give me too much credit. The day we think we know it all is the day we are in serious trouble..btw, wasn't it just about an hour ago that I was a conservative, close-minded religious zealot?
