Danger in D.C.?
There have been an average of 160,000 troops stationed in Iraq during the
last 22 months. During this time the firearm death total was 1,320 for a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 per month. The firearm death rate in Washington DC is 80.6 per 100,000 per month. That means that you are more like to be shot and killed in our Nation's Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq. Conclusion: We should immediately pull out of Washington, D.C.? |

LOL, so true. D.C. Has always had a huge crime rate. It's something I have always conined on that "It's pretty bad when the nation's capital is the home of our leaders and yet they charge on to war when it's in there own back yard already."

lol... I got that as an email and thought that it was kind of funny. Not so much funny as ironic because there's nothing funny about rampant gunshot deaths. That email sort of pokes fun at the anti-war liberals and the pro-war conservatives...
