How do you shred?!?!?!
if you know how to please tell me!

Is that what you call a getaway? Tell me what you got away with B/c i've seen more spine in jellyfish and ive seen more guts on 11 year old kids. it's not just knowing how, it takes a lot of practice.
As it stands i've been playing just over a year and the best i can do are the shwm/pity for a dime and nothing else matters (metallica) solo's, i can't shred. The best way to be able to shred is to learn the fret board, learn an assload of scales, then practice them over and over until you can play them real fast (shredding). With the pick hand it's easier to play fast if you hold it closer to the tip that's hitting the strings.
