He's Def My Fav... But Not The Best no... Dude... Jimmy Page, KirkHammet, Zakk Wylde, Ygwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani Etc Etc... are Still Alive and are Technichally Better than him...

I don't know dude... Imo, it's not only how much skilled or fast the guy is. It's a combination of all things. Songs written, melodies created, the tones, if the solo fits the song or not, speed and skill.

I think today Mark is the one who puts all of them together better. But I don't know, maybe it's my taste. For example, everybody likes Dream Theather (even Mark) but I'm not into them... Their songs do nothing for me.

Don't worry about thinking Mark Tremonti is the best, if he wants to think that, let him.

You opinion is just different. I personally also think there are better guitarists, but like I said, its his opinion.

It's not like I'm saying he's the best. What I'm saying is he's the one that puts all together for me. He's the guy that lit the flame in me to start learning guitar.

I don't have the moral to judge a guitar player, coz I suck. But as a listener... technics doesn't appear as much as the merge of tone and melody.
