Edgewater

I bought their debut CD, South of Sideways, around the time it came out and I'm just now getting around to giving it a full, thorough listen. And let me tell you, it fucking rocks! Of course they're similar to Creed, being on Wind-Up and all, but their style also sort of reminds me of Fuel on a few songs. It rocks pretty damn hard, and I love it! Check it out!

I wouldn't say that they sound like Creed. Submersed sounds more like Creed.

Post-grunge seems to be the most talented genre out there. Bands like Creed, Evanescence, Submersed, Edgewater, Nickelback, Default, Staind, etc.

I think there debut was done incredibly well. They show off alot of range and the musical abilities. If edgewater can get there faces out and continue to write songs the way they are now they'll go places.

i agree w/ that... the music requires skill to play, not just hitting buttons on the stereo and lip-syncing... plus, the lyrics tend to be thoughtful and/or introspective

I just picked up their album today. Couldn't find it at Target anywhere so I had to find time today to go to the nearest mall. Listening through it right now for the first time. Pretty good so far!!!

Yeah, I totally agree. Post-grunge is bascially an improvement of the Seattle grunge scene.

yep... grunge was like good music, but most of the lyrics were a little more depressing, shall we say, or the common phrase, "teen angst", to which only angry teens listen... post-grunge has similar guitars, etc, but the lyrics can better apply to everyone than just one group... i'm not saying i don't like grunge; pearl jam, nirvana, stp, alice in chains, they're all great... but i just like post-grunge that much more
