How interesting! I wondered about our boys and how they felt about the war, I had a feeling they were righties!

whatever... whatīs the difference? will you like Creed more or less because of their thoughts about the war? The site doesnīt even point why they are for it. What if they were against? Would you change your opinion about it? And if they were against, and a truck destroyed all their cds like a radio station did with Dixie Chicks? What would you think of the radio station?
Artists have so much influence on people, maybe it would be better if they donīt say anything on polemic issues... Thatīs so over reacting... I mean both sides...

I really could care less what their opinions of the war is to be honest with you! It would not make me like them any less if they were not for it and dead hard liberals I just think it is people's curiosity. I had a "hunch" they were righties though
As far as the Dixie Chicks are concerned, I expected that from her, she has continuously made an ass of herself in public about topics like that. Hey everyone is entitled to an opinion, BUT how you portray your opinion actually means more than the opinion itself!

thatīs so true! (the how you portray your opinion part). What pearl jam did, smashing a Bush masked dummie was really stupid...
btw, not that the other parts arenīt, I agree! except that I didnīt have any hunch!

Are you serious about Pearl Jam Yeah that was REALLY stupid, that to me is even more of a reason to not buy any Cd's of theirs To me Marcos everyone is entitled to their opinion like I said but Pearl Jam doing that proves how disrespectful and ignorant they really are And to me sometimes I can't seperate the music from the band, to me it is the total package. Creed is the ulitmate package to me, they are a bunch of awesome guys who do great for charities and give to their fans etc.. they may have "way off" political opinions (who knows?) but if so, they are respectful enough to keep it to themselves! And if you show respect you get respect!

who said we canīt agree? Personally (this is just my opinion!), I never liked bands that mix politics/activism with their songs, such as Rage against the machine, apparently Audioslave (but theyīre kinda different... theyīre not only about protesting) and some local artists from here... About Pearl Jam, apparently during their last concert, they had some kind of dummies representing Bush (not sure about the masks) and they smashed it and said something about it. Then some people booed them and many left the venue. When Eddie Vedder realized it, he tried to fix it with words - which I donīt remember now - and said įater to the press that only a half dozen people left their concert...

Pearl Jam give a ton to their fans; they wrote the book on connecting with their fans. And they did it way before Creed. They have bent over backwards to be good to their fans by fighting the evil Ticketmaster for one. They give the best seats to their fans through the Ten Club and they even offer *official bootlegs* of every concert they do for a very reasonable price.

Dogstar.... I am sure they do a lot for their fans, but what they did at that show was plain and simply wrong! If they want to get up and say something whatever, but that to me was just as tacky as the Madonna video.......... SORRY
