Pearl Jam - Brazilian Tour 2005 - Diary
On Monday, PJ performed their first gig ever in Brazil, in Porto Alegre. 15,000 people attended the concert.
Fans sang "Happy Birthday" to drummer Matt Cameron and production got a birthday cake for him. Vedder got a piece of it and rubbed on Matt's face! Then a cake war started, they even threw it on the crowd. But the best moment of the night was when Cameron left his spot to give space to... MARKY RAMONE (ramone's drummer) and played "I Believe in Miracles", dedicating it to Johnny Ramone. This is the setlist: Long Road Last Exit Animal Do The Evolution Green Disease Jeremy Grievance Cropduster Even Flow Betterman State of Love and Trust Daughter Habit Given To Fly Immortality Save You Rearview Mirror Encore: I Got ID Crazy Mary I Believe in Miracles Alive Encore 2: Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town Corduroy Blood Baba O'Riley Yellow Ledbetter A local radio will probably live stream their gig in São Paulo next Friday or next Saturday. I'll post a link for it when it's up.
