Submersed story

Hi guys, I wanted to share something a friend of mine told me. I know this woman from a Duran Duran board and she's a sweetheart. With regard to Submersed, she and her family saw them 3 times over the past tour. This woman is my age (mid-late-30's) and I wanted to show you how awesome these guys are:

We saw them open for Alter Bridge twice, but in May we went to Fayetteville and saw them at a little club. They were opening for Boiling Point and Theory of a Deadman. We first saw them in a Subway close to the club and Kelan was wearing a Duran Duran t-shirt! We talked to them and got invited to come up on the bus. We hung out with them for an hour or more before the show. What a bunch of little sweeties. My son and husband were completely star struck. They played us two tracks that they're working on for their next album. That damn Eric Friedman is an amazing guitarist....but it was good for my heart to see my son playing air guitar with Eric. LOL

I so hope they can get more exposure. From some of Donald's posts, (on Submersed's website) they're losing hope. Hop over to Submersed.com forum and give them some encouragement. Donald started a whole section entitled "Encouragement".....besides it would be nice to have someone my age over there. LOL

That's awesome, Teri!!! And they are so nice in person. Linda and I got to talk to Eric in DC when they opened for AB and he was great. Not to mention that they rock live. Thanks for that story, Teri!

That damn Linda even spoke to Erock's mom over the phone, for no reason I can remember...

(But that was way back when they opened for Creed).

Hahaha, yeah, that was on New Year's Eve, after she saw them in an elevator after the show.

Good to hear. Tell them hello from me and to come on MSN a bit more often! Last time I talked to her was when I just had started going out with my girl. And we've been together for 9 months now. Which means it was a pretty long time since I heard anything from her.
