Employee of the month and a 75 cent raise!

I am still shocked about it, but this past week I got a 75 cent raise and was given a framed Employee of the month certificate. I have never been recognized for doing a good job at any of the places I've worked before, and I've worked my ass off at every place I have worked for.

Someone is finally seeing how good of a worker I am. I still don't know what to think about it all, because all I have ever heard from anyone from my previouse jobs was everything I did wrong. Its hard to react to positive things being done.

I'm good, Julie, thanks. We moved from NJ to WV due to work, so the past year has been pretty much a blur of boxes, new schools, new activities, etc. And I'm a Girl Scout leader for my youngest daughter's troop, so I've been a pretty crazy-busy mom! Hope you are doing well!!

It was fantastic seeing you as well. (got grief from Mom on Saturday that she didn't feel we spent enough mother/daughter time together. nothing like a little holiday guilt to top off the season, huh?)

She's good at laying on the guilt at my living so far away, but otherwise she's very well. Still having the seizures but the doc has changed her meds so hopefully this will help.

How's that monster pussycat?? Has he eaten anymore of the neighborhood children? I made sure I did a head count when my family got back in the car when we left your place.....ya know.....just in case.
