I spoke to a scottish bloke and he said they wear kilts up in the highlands, but you would get bashed if you wore one around the main cities. He also said that the Loch Ness Monster is a big load of shite, and the fable is just there to suck the tourist's in...
We all have our tourist teasing fables though
