1. Any real journalist knows you never end a sentence with a preposition.
2. This is A public forum, not an public forum.
3. For whom do you work. Again the preposition thing.
4. What is journaling?
5. Can anyone tell me why the hell I am wasting my time with this asshole??

4. "Journaling" - the act of being a journalist; to journal.

I don't know why I'm wasting my time either... It's kinda funny though.

Does it matter to you whether the band does drugs? Would it have any impact on what you think of their music?

I've read that Scott wrote "Illusion" when he was tripping on acid, which, funnily enough, is the Creed song I like the least. But as long as they make great music, are not hurtling towards an early death or hurting their families, then what they do in their spare time is up to them. I would like to think that they don't do drugs, but I can't do much about it if they do, right?

I love Illusion! Easily made my top 12 Creed songs. The lyrics just seem self-reflective - and yeah, if they did do drugs and they do only soft stuff now, I really don't give a flying- - - - or bouncing frog? They have great lyrics, present positive messages and are authentically passionate about values I resonate with...so I AM ROCKING ON WITH CREED!

Um, let's see. They aren't telling me to "Party Hard". They aren't urging me to "Break Stuff". They aren't whining about how "She Fu**ing Hates Me". I'd say their message, no matter how it comes to be, is a positive one altogether. And being a parent myself, I'd say it's hard to be an adequate one let alone a GOOD parent if you are continually strung out on something. Drinking to cut loose from stress, or smoking the occasional joint are not, in my opinion, cause for concern. If they snort line after line of coke, or smoke pipe after pipe of crack, we'd definitely notice a difference.

All I have to say is, WTF? Do you read what you post before you click on the submit button? I can't even take you seriously.

But, I will try.
First of all, if you were trying to tell me what I should have written, it should have been structured thusly:

If you want to be TECHNICAL, you should have put, "I am a journalist, too, for I am not the only subject to whom you are talking....By the way, that makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!

This is A public forum, so it goes out to many people.

So, Dogstar, FOR WHOM do you work?

In what vection (this word does not exist) do you specialize? Public, SYNODICAL or SYNODAL?
Big freakin' difference here, and you didn't even get the word right. Again WTF? I have no idea what you are asking.

What TYPE (a guess on my part because, again, you make no sense) of journaling?
Journaling? I have one last question for you: Is English your first language? Seriously, I could understand if it weren't.

To answer your original question, I work for a major metropolitan daily newspaper. Now, I ask you... For whom do you work? I can't imagine you work for a credible news outlet because, as I have stated before, you cannot express a coherent thought. Perhaps you work on the technical (note the correct spelling here) side of things. Please, do tell.

In the immortal words of the teacher from The Breakfast Club (whose name escapes me after eight hours of work):

Don't mess with the bull, young man. You'll get the horns.

Technically, the word journaling does not exist.

In the vernacular, the made-up verb form has to do with keeping a journal, or a diary. It has nothing to do with being a journalist. The proper verb form for keeping a journal is journalize.

However, the noun form, journalist does list as a secondary definition one who keeps a journal or diary.

Hey, thanks - so, could I call myself a journalizer? Are you pumping the pen for that Creed promotional piece to spit at the media jerks and jerkettes?

LOL, SD. I know I should have let that one go, but I just couldn't. The journaling side of me just wouldn't let me. I apologize for the lengthy posts.

No apologeez! You are what you are and do it well - it's one of your gifts so bring it here to the board! I value truth. Just ignore me, I am feeling punchy from too many cranberries - just ignore me.
