My last post...I'm just to angry
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the board who made me feel welcome especially Teri...I've been a loyal die hard Creed fan for four years but I'm hanging all that up. I just can't except what went on in Chicago on 12/29 and I can't except that poor excuse for a statement that Creed e-mailed all the Chicago fans who wrote to them. You can say all you want about me...stuff like I'm not a true Creed fan and all that, but if you weren't at that concert...you truly could never understand how it felt to be slapped in the face by your idol. Yes folks, I have seen the real Creed and I never want to see them again. Their fans obviously mean shit to them and they've proved that...at least to me. Now I have to deal with all the money I've spent on their c.d.s and merchandise...maybe you can all find them real cheap on E-bay when I sell all this stuff. Anyway for those of you who hold Creed dear to your heart, I understand how that felt. I'm not here to bash the band...just wanted to state my peace and head on out...again thanks to everyone for the wonderful chat...Rock on Creed fans. Let's hope you get some great concerts in the future from the band who truly ruined mine. I had the worst night of my life on Sunday Dec. 29th, 2002. What a way to ring in the New Year.
Karen from Chicago

sad subject
im sorry you feel the way you feel about this incident..i want also to say that im sure creed doesnt want to lose you as a fan either..one thing i will remind you of ...its the music thats suppossed to make you feel good. do you really think scott wants you to idolize him.. probably not...i would say that he would suggest maybe your parents or a close friend should fit that bill. i think that after you think about this issue for a while cooler minds will prevail...i personall think music that i love to listen to is a huge plus in my life. to see them in person is another...shit happens...albeit sad and unfortunate and im sure with no malace..its done and over...go back to listening to the music that makes you feel good. ok just my thoughts...

I'm sorry for you Karen. I was also at that concert. We drove 11 hours to get there, then waited in line for 2 and a half hours because I wanted to be at the rail. I was disappointed and saddened by what transpired that "infamous" night. I just kept thinking to myself that it wasn't real. It was most definitely a different show than my first Creed experience on 9/22. Despite all this, I still love Creed just as much. The reason I became interested in them in the first place was their music, and that has not changed. There is no other band out there like them. They will always remain my favorite band. Thanks for reading.....

Karen, don't sell all your Creed stuff yet. You have to understand that Scott was going through a lot during that time. I know you are going to say that it was no excuse for him to act like that, which he shouldn't of but there is nothing you can do about it. Don't blame the entire band though, I'm sure they were very embarassed about the entire incident. Please reconsider about not being a Creed fan anymore. That's just my opinion. We will miss you!

karen, i agree with you to a certain degree. I too was pissed that my first concert ever was blemished like that but hey, i'll live. Im not going to stop listening to my creed CDs because he was drunk, i like their music so i listen to it no problem there. I might think twice though about going to another concert. If i do go, i'm not going to spend $70 on their merchandise. I bought some Creed shirts and some patches at the concert and now im kind of embarrassed to wear them. I get alot of crap from my freinds for listening to Creed and if i wear those shirts all i hear is "I told you so". That night sure was memerable though, and i did have fun. Local H was awesome, i was the only one where i was at that was liking their music. I should have bought the local H CD instead of all the other crap.
