Hold My Hand
sometimes in these dark nights
I found the Lord knocking on my door to sing me the song of the world to tell me I'm heard sometimes when my soul is torn I know He's with me through a song like birds from the trees singing to me when I feel hurt or abused He sends me a gentle song to comfort me to hold me I bleed sometimes oh Lord torn in a fight of a drowning world a world crying in pain for a Mothers hand someone who understands I feel the world shake from the tears of children sometimes I know it's a journey I walk the world as He holds my hands helps me to understand I dream someday I'll fly and hold the hands of those who cry as we wait for the Saviour to be reborn I'll cry with those who are torn as we stumble, as we morn the lonely souls walks this path of light to see a star so bright as my Lord accompanies me I know I will be free
