name this tune

Hi all! Great site!
First time here as I have been searching for this song to no avail.
I have this tune, sorta sounds like creed, soundgarden or maybe tool. All my friends think that it's creed and I've even posted to a few other forums and no one knows who it is. Maybe someone here can help me out. The lyrics go something like this:

waking up from a cold sweat
feeling his head (dizzy?)
so can't get away from
the pain inside him
cannot hide from his feelings

he walks around town (down?)
without from nowhere
no place to hide and no place to go from
demons they find him
and (strapped)? around his heart (arm?)
release and go, release and go (?)

scars and bruises
from a dirty lifestyle
?
that makes him
he feels so useless
and the dark world it hates him
he cannot afford to be shut out of
?
winding streets, no one even knows him
wandering around with a strange look upon him
blood coming from the side of his head where
he was kicked and beaten and left for dead

This tune is somewhat like creed, tool, soundgarden or something, but I've looked everywhere and come up empty.

If anyone knows this song, please end my misery

Welcome to Creedfeed. That's not a Creed song.

Yeah, I remember finding that song somewhere with Creed as the artist. I don't believe it's them, however

Thanks for the quick replies. I didn't think it was a creed song. I have researched this thing for 2 days and come up with nothing, so now it's just bugging the hell out of me just because I can't believe no one knows what this song is!
Thanks for the welcome everyone, this site is very cool!

So, anyways if anyone reads this and does know who or what it is, please let me know.

Hi. I've researched this song before, I have it on a Creed cd I got off of ebay and was told by some that it wasn't Creed, so I looked into it. The song is called "Go Home" by a band that used to call themselves "Level With The Ground" and have since changed it to "Seven Left". They put Creed's name on it to get people to listen to it. Sounds illegal to me, but anyway, it's not Creed. It is a good song though.

Hope this helps.

Thanks farmgirl!!!!! After your post I looked into it some more and they state on their website that they have worked with creed and three doors down. However, there is no reference anywhere to this particular song.
I agree, you do ROCK! lol!

Thanks misskellibad1, I can't remember where exactly I found the title of the song, I think it was on Level With The Grounds older website. I had found a link to it somewhere, and there were Creed fans stating their dis-approval of them using Creed's name and it was somewhere in there. If I find it again, I will let you know.
