I agree that they should get more awards. I heard Avril Lavigne is nominated for 4 or something and that when she presents some award she mispronunced David Bowies name. I just heard it on the radio today when they were announcing the grammy list was released. That's pretty sad.

i thought the show was live, but maybe it's pre-recorded.

hah its funyn though, Avril calls herself teh Anti-Pop Princess er somethne liek that and the only awards she was nominated for Which was 5 are all, Best female pop artist, Best pop artist Best pop song, lol i find that funny. and my radio station is like we have rock, and they play a clip from niclebac, we have rap, and the yplay a clip from nelly, and we have pop, and the yplay a clip from avril.
haha Avril isnt punk, shes pop.... but of course WHAT IS punk anyways?? well the answer IS... actually its POP!

There are some puck bands, like AFI, and stuff like that, but I MUST agree, she is TOTALLY POP. I must say, I do like that new song of hers. The one after Sk8er Boi.

These award shows are a bunch of crap! Think about it, it is all decided by people who don't know anything about music, they sit behind a desk and look at record sales and what is played on the radio all the time. Well we all know what is played on the radio all the time.... CRAP! So there you go, you get crap for awards! It is the fan awards where the real difference is, and Creed got a lot of those last year!! I really don't think that Creed cares about that anyways, their large crowds at shows and army of fans says enough of how they are liked!!!!

The Grammys have been a sham for decades. They have to request/pay for an application just to be considered, and then the record companies have to spend money on a campaign for sure. It's a joke. I'm sure there's payola going on with the voting, too. It's never been about talent; it's always been about money.
