but that's the point: coming up with a lame name to make fun of all of you who take this kind of stuff so seriously.

Not as lame as spelling Alter Bridge "Falterbridge".

I think his point was to the fact that on a couple of Metallica's latest albums, they did not play "metal" but rather went with a "modern rock" sound instead. Pop in Load and Reload and see for yourself.

Yeah, I see what he meant...It's just that him saying Metallica should sit down and learn from them...Made me cringe. Bold, bold statement. Nothing taken away from Tremonti though. The guy is good, but after reading his post initially, I guess I wasnt thinking about the latter Metallica albums, which werent as explosive as the first few. I just think if AB had a diff singer, they'd sound better overall. Tremonti is too good to be with the likes of Myles IMO. Oh, and throw out Brian Marshall, cuz that guy's a headcase with an attitude prob. A ticking time bomb that I can only imagine will cause problems later in AB.

A little bit of both. It was a statment I stand for, but at the same time a joke, you get it? I know Metallica will NEVER listen to this song, but come on... I'm a huge 'Tallica fan myself. They played some real cool Thrash Metal on their first records, but as Steve said, they went in a more "modern rock" direction when they made Load and Re-load, which also were great albums. I love St. Anger too, real cool, but that is NOT Thrash Metal. To be honest with you, I hope 'Tallica will get back to play the good old metal they played in their earlier days, which Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad reminds me a bit of. That's why I made the "joke/statment"!
Anyway... I've heard that 'Tallica's new album, which will be released some time in 2006, shouldn't be very much a like St. Anger, but more a like their earlier stuff!! Yay!!

Why shouldn't Metallica listen to AB? I mean Iron Maiden do it, or atleast the singer.
And to say that Myles is bad is just shit! He's one of the greatest singer of all times man! Get some fackts! And Brian is a realy nice person! Don't think he's a ticking bomd, though with Stapp he might be... Why has he got an attitued problem?

Ye man , Brian doesnt have no attitude problem.. He did in the past because of stapp mainly , Both of them didnt get along. I cant really see brian making problems for Ab in the future. And Myles is a awesome singer! 1 of the best today in my opinion and im guessing alot of other peoples too!

Indeed. Unfortunately we are surrounded by totally ignorant non-musicians who can't tell a great singer from a hippo.
