Alter Bridge Tickets and Charges

Hi Forum, I have a question. I plan on attending the Alter Bridge concert in Houston that's coming up, but I don't want to pay all the extra fees involved with buying my tickets on-line. Is there any other way I can buy my tickets that doesn't involve all of those BS fees they give you? I know of a mall that has a TicketMaster in it, but I don't know if I would still have to pay for those damn convience charges? If you know anything about the ticket buying processes, let me know...I'm trying to save some money.

Thanks,

Robert

Last time I bought tickets in person at a Ticketmaster place (several years ago), the fees were the same as ordering them online. One thing you can try doing is going to the venue itself to purchase your tickets. Sometimes the venues won't charge the extra "convience fee" that they charge you online or at a Ticketmaster place.

Personally I prefer to buy my tickets online. It's easier.

Going to a Ticketmaster location will still get you the charges added on, it's the convenience of using Ticketmaster (online or not). The Box office for the concert venue is the best bet but you may still get hit with the charges anyway as some of the venues are now operated by Ticketmaster (ala The Wachovia Center here in Philly).

I'll let ya know 4 sure after tonight!! I can't WAIT to see Mark play live again!!

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure what I'm going to do just yet, it may just be easier buying them on-line since I'm going to school about an hour away from Houston, I don't want to have to drive in and buy them. That extra 20 bucks erks me though, what can I say I'm a tight-wad.

No thanks on the Dallas tix, I apperciate it though. I don't feel like driving that far away. If they were Creed tix 2 years ago it may have been a different story.

Thanks again,

Robert
