Doesn't Remind Me may be the next single? Hmm, was hoping for one of the harder songs for that. Oh well.

lol... I guess I won't say Dandelion is my fav track then!
I really didn't like it... Morello seems to be recycling the same riffs over and over again. Be Yourself was a very poor choice for a single. Your Time Has Come is pretty neat though.Yet, Dandelion is my fav so far. Cornell has improved though. Quit smoking was a wise choice.

I liked Your Time Has Come as well. I think it was a good opener for the CD as well.

Heh I remember someone comparing Dandelion from about 2:50 to 3:05 to Seasame Street Its quite good song. I think Yesterday To Tomorrow shows off Cornells voice the best on the album. Im really loving that solo in it too, become one of my fav songs.

Yeah its a big change, but as many have pointed out they have their own style now, not just Cornell singing over RATM-like-tunes.

finally got around to listening to the whole album yesterday and today... i'd say that, from start to finish, this album is better than the s/t debut. on "Audioslave", there were a few songs towards the end i just didn't get into. however, "OoE" ends strong... "The Curse," IMO, is a fantastic song

Yes, I'm liking The Curse a lot. I think this album will grow on me. I've only given it a few spins so far.

i havent given my two cents yet...
drown me slowly, and the solo on that song, rock my socks off. amost literally. doesnt remind me, is my favorite song. im sorry, but i love it when cornell does stuff thats unexpected. your time has come, dogstar, i agree, wonderful opener. the curse, tbh, i hated for the two weeks i had it before the cd came out, but now, i love it.

Yeh so funny...the first time i heard it i was like, man these songs are not as good as the ones on the first album, they just dont stand out, but now I really love em! Go figure!
I am realy glad that Morello is soloing more on this one. Cos I remember him in Lockup and he shredded! So yippee! Oh and Dogstar, how beautiful is that pic of him just loving the music! oooooh!!!! Threre is evidence of their influences in there that are lovely...even some sabbath in The Worm. The bassline for I think its #1zero reminds me of bullet the blue sky at the beginning of the song anyways...also some zep in the mix of the album but that is natural with darling morello hehe. Fave songs: Dandelion, Drown me slowly, Heavens dead and the list is growing

I got it last friday, and since then I'm listening to it and a lot of songs are still growing ...but are two songs that are fantastic and I cant stop to listen to them: Drown me Slowly and The Curse.
The Curse is absolutely amazing! PS: But Dandellion and Heavens Dead are also great songs.

Got it a few days ago... Kicks butt. Heaven's Dead is one of the best songs since... a long time ago.
I would definitely agree that Tom has GOT to stop that ridiculous dj-ing. It doesn't FIT in this album at ALL. Solos are good--when he relies on a *gasp* GUITAR for his solos, they are good. When he throws all of that other nonsense into it it takes away from the rock and roll feel, which is a big shame since this is the best rock album I have heard in a WHILE.

it works on some of the tracks ( i think it works very well in the title track) but with the softer material particulary it doesn't work. also when he does it in every second song it loses its magic cause you know its coming.

I don't mind the dj-ing at all. I think it's good that they don't follow all the supposed rules of rock. I agree that it works better with the harder songs, though.
