Question On Marks Equipment

So can somone technical here tell me this?.....When mark uses his distortion does that come out of a pedalboard or is that straight MESA BOOGIE gain? And his his clean tone all fender? AND if he uses pedals (besides his wah) what are they?

His distortion is pure MESA Triple Recto.
His clean tone is all Fender with a TC Electronics GForce through that.
And he has no other pedals on his pedal board besides his Wah, and a CAE RS10 MIDI Audio Controller.

The amps/effects section is near the bottom. There are a couple of diagrams outlining his entire Rig. Check them out.

No. The buttons on the RS10 MIDI controller are programmed. Say he steps on the button labelled "dirty"...he would get his dirty sound. Then he steps on the button labelled "clean"...he would get his clean sound. The RS10 MIDI Footcontroller connects to the RS10 Audio controller in his rack.

I get it now, most times guitarist will have a big rack of pedals by them..I never heard one having preprogrammed buttons that they use instead of pedals

LOL. Well if you are paying attention, and not drunk, then - no.
Besides, the buttons are spaced apart.

To Unforgiven Fan - A lot of famous guitarists actually use a Custom Audio Electronics Foot controllers.

I know (think) your all guys here, but there is a picture of Mark in July's Guitar One magazine! It's pretty cool!! It has Tom Morello from Audioslave on the cover, now there's another kick ass guitarist!!

I'm not a guy.
And yeah, Morello is another good guitarist - he's pretty innovative.

Why buy Mark's rig?
By the way, I don't know about the price of the CAE RS10, I'd imagine that it's somewhere around US$600.
I have read reviews of the thing that weren't very nice about the product...
