I think you nailed it right on the head. The questions are worded badly and it makes it seem like the survey is skewed. I think I lean further towards the right then what my results stated. I think I would be just right of centre which probably mean if I lived in the U.S I would vote for the Liberterians.

People to easily identify themselves with one political group without looking much into it, the purpose is to see what you really are. And the ideas of "left" and "right" politics is so misleading. That is why i posted the quiz. I thought it was fun .

It is interesting and sometimes fun to take - however I feel that when questions are poorly worded or answers are poorly written it defeats the purpose of the quiz. And some stupid online quiz isn't going to tell someone where they "really stand" with regards to any topic.

I went into the test with high hopes, but I lost interest half way through it.

I agree, it was too long for my liking. I think I finished it in 10-15 minutes. I also agree that the wording was pretty poor. They could have done a better job.....

"1.Some of the questions are slanted
Most of them are slanted ! Some right-wingers accuse us of a leftward slant. Some left-wingers accuse us of a rightward slant. But it's important to realise that this isn't a survey, and these aren't questions. They're propositions - an altogether different proposition. To question the logic of individual ones that irritate you is to miss the point. Some propositions are extreme, and some are more moderate. That's how we can show you whether you lean towards extremism or moderation on the Compass. Some of the propositions are intentionally vague. Their purpose is to trigger buzzwords in the mind of the user, measuring feelings and prejudices rather than detailed opinions on policy. Incidentally, our test is not another internet personality classification tool. The essence of our site is the model for political analysis. The test is simply a demonstration of it.
