Disturbed
I looked and I guess the Disturbed thread fell off the edge of this forum. Just wanted to say they have a mini-tour this week and I saw the first show in Chicago Saturday night at the House of Blues. They put on an awsome show as usual and played two brand new songs..."Hell" and "Monster". Both of the new songs rocked!
 I met a group of fans from the Disturbed message board and we had reservations at the HOB restaurant, which, if you order an entree, you don't have to wait in line. There is a seperate line for the ones who ate and we all got in ahead of everyone and ended up front row on the rail. It's the greatest place to be to see them live and I can't wait for the new cd to come out. These are the rest of the dates...then they head back to finish their new cd: July 27th, Bogarts, Cincinnati, OH July 28th, Promowest Pavillion, Columbus, OH July 30th, Starland Ballroom, Sayreville, NJ July 31st, Westmorland Fairgrounds, Rolling Rock Town Fair Five, Latrobe, PA If you can, catch one of these shows! Their new bass player, John Moyer, previously of Union Underground, fit in nicely and did a great job. I met Dan for the third time in the hotel lobby while he was checking in. Just thought I'd share. I know there are some Disturbed fans here.  |

Here I am!! lol....I REALLY wanted to see the show in Chicago, but, well, ya know, shit happens!! I was even toying with the idea of going to Latrobe, PA to see the Rolling Rock concert, but I really don't think that's going to happen...that would/will be such a SWEET show!!! Alot of really good bands playing!! I would sooo love to see Disturbed, Sevendust and a bunch of other really great bands...but I just got done looking at airfares, and there is NO WAY I'm making that trip!! Holy Shit!!! fares are @ $1200!! YIKES!!!

OUCH!!! that sucks big time! Hey, on a sort of related note, Octane (www.octanerocks.com) does a kick-ass cover of that "is she not right, is she insane" song...

Yeah, that show would have been great to see but I can't afford it either. I wish it would have been closer. David's dog Lisa is on this mini-tour with him and she's getting more attention than the band at the after signings. LOL |

disturbed rock very hard, one of the better heavy rock acts around IMO.

Apparently, those of us who went to the Chicago show, got extremely lucky in hearing those two new songs. During a recent interview with David Draiman at their 3rd of these 5 summer shows, he said they will not be playing them again because people are trying to get mp3's of the two new songs that were played in Chicago and they don't want them to get out this far in advance of the new cd. I can't blame him...I can understand that. This is one cd I'm really looking forward to.

Yeah, I read all that. It's all over their message board and I know some people that were there. Finch got what they deserved after all they've said about Disturbed.
