Scott Stapp Set To Rock Out - Solo Style!

Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - Get ready for some more killer rock this month - former Creed frontman Scott Stapp will be releasing his eagerly awaited solo record 'The Great Divide' on February 18. If you loved Creed, then you definitely need to hear this album... Creed were one of the biggest selling rock bands of the 90s. They released three studio albums over 10 years that yielded eight massive No 1 radio hits in the US, and over 30 million album sales globally.
Scott Stapp, the band's former lead singer, returns with his first-ever solo studio album, and it's bloody amazing! All of the tracks on the record were written by Scott himself, and were recorded in his studio in Miami, Florida. Scott even co-produced the album with longtime Creed collaborator John Kurzweg.

The first cut from the album is also called 'The Great Divide', and it's a classic example of what made Creed so big; immediate hooks and heart-felt lyrics, and a sound that builds and walks the line between being a gentle acoustic mid-tempo rocker, and an over the top "wall-of-sound" guitar-driven anthem.

Things are just about to get even more exciting for Scott Stapp - not only does his first solo tour kick off in the US in just under two weeks, but on February 10, Scott will be marrying his fiancée Jaclyn Nesheiwat.

Watch this space for an interview with Scott hitting you soon, where he tells all about 'The Great Divide', finding balance in his life, and moving forward.
'The Great Divide' is in stores February 18
