I have to say that Steve sure deserve something special like that Michael! Maybe a nice idea as a birthday present He has done (and still does) an awesome job with this messageboard!!!

With the exception of the odd band that comes through town that the boys feel they need to go out and support, they pretty much are working on this at a relentless schedule. They are rehearsing and writing about 12 hours a day seven days a week. That is one of the reasons you have not seen Mark or any of the other guys doing interviews or appearences.

Michael

That's cool - hard working musicians!! By the way, what bands nowadays are the guys listening to and supporting?

Most recently they go whenever Submursed plays. The have also gone to see Head Heavy which is Brian's other band. Oh, cant forget about Finger 11. Same is true for Sevendust. If you like metal Mark is really into Lamb of God and Hatebreed. Also a local act named Indorphine. Actually Adam(the guitarist from Indorphine) and Bill Peck and Mark will sit in Mark's room and shred for hours at a time. Mark loves to shred in his free time.

I can't wait to hear them..... the anticipation is killing me. I am in total love with Sevendust's music and like Hatebreed as well. I know that anything Mark puts out is going to kick serious ass!!!!!

Thanks for sharing all of the info with us, Michael. I really appreciate it. I'm anxiously awaiting for some more news and the cd at the end of August.

Michael, thank you!

I heard of Indorphine before (I'm pretty sure Mark mentioned them in a radio interview last year, before a meet and greet) and I never heard them, but I think it's really cool of Mark to be developing upcoming talents and bands. Enough of pop music... enough of rap-rock with no melody or lyrical content...

Btw, can I ask you one more question? this one is related to Bill Peck:

Did he get a deal to record an album? And if so, if he already hit the studio.

Thanks! God bless you all!

Bill Peck is actually sitting next to me right now. I'll let him answer...

Hey this is BP....Thanks for your interest! Not signed to a deal but working on another independent release. Should be done in about 4 months. Check out my website for updates and news. www.bill-peck.com BY the way, if you haven't seen Mark's video on my site, check it out. Be on the lookout for a new one soon.

Michael back again... well there you go, from Bill's mouth to your ears!

Hmm....

1) is the new lead singer a no-namer?

2) eh... is he black or white?

3) he's a he, right?

Man these questions are lame. Well, not the first one.

OK back to studying the EE. By the way, Micheal... I heard Mark's taking some engineering courses? Interesting. Degree oriented? I'm currently a masters student at the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology in the field of microelectronics and MEMS. I assume mark's interest is in power electronics? I've got some excellent textbooks to recommend if he's interested. Some of the top power guys (and microelectronics guys) are here in MN.

Thanks!
