SK, like someone said, the true meaning is always what you want to make of it. So, if you want it kinky... just kidding.
Scott talks in many different ways about being broken and torn down (although Torn was written by Mark), so I doubt he was going for that meaning.

I thought Scott wrote My Own Prison and Torn. Watching the behind the music of Creed, you see that Scott wrote the lyrics in a notebook before Creed even started, and it sort of just made itself into a song.

Scott giving credit where credit is due. From what I remember...mark supposedly wrote it about some girl...however IMHO Scott sure didn't sing it with that meaning.
