Wind Song

Wind Song

High on a hill
The wind sang a song...
Sung to the world
About all that was wrong
Sung to the world
About all that was right
The hymn lasted all day
And into the nite...
This song of life
This song of love
Fell on deaf ears
Below and above...
Still the world slept
The sleep of the dead
Missing the beauty
In what the wind said...
There were a few
Whose hearts were alive
That heard every word
Upon which they thrived...
When the sun rose
Bringing promise of morning
Those that believed
Found it all quite transforming...
They heard what was said
And knew all along
The truth they were seeking
Was in the wind's song...

You will forever remain the music
And I…the song you sing
