yeah the trip was fun. Going through airport security and customs is pain, but that's the way it goes. I'm on medicine that makes my skin more sensitive to sunlight, so I didn't do any sunbathing, lol. I did walk the beach a few times and just relaxed. The food was different, but it was good. I did some shopping. The hotel was nice, I think we were the only americans there, a lot of British people and a few Australians. The accent of the local people made it difficult to understand what they were saying sometimes, but atleast they spoke english. I smoked some cigars while I was there, they were made in Barbados, but they used Cuban tobacco. They were really smooth, i bought a box of them to take back with me. I also got to drink (legally) while I was there. They never asked for ID once. I drank beer most of the time. They specialize in Rum in Barbados, so I had many Rum Punches and Rum and Cokes (bought a bottle there to bring back). Also tried a few margaritas, pina colodas, and one vodka martini. Don't worry I didn't get falling on the ground drunk or anything. I paced myself, lol. I did get a tad bit tipsy before dinner on "Cocktail Party" night at the hotel. Where we met the manager and there was an open bar. It was only for an hour so I had to make the most of it, lol. (2 beers, a rum punch, a rum and coke, and a glass of wine). Let's just say my "hand eye coordination" and balance weren't at top notch.
I had some problems going through airport security on the way back. I set off the metal detector and I couldn't figure out why, i was pulled aside and wanded. Then i realized i had my wallet in my cargo pocket (it had some change in it). Normally i don't keep change with me. It was embarrassing being treated like a criminal, but shit happens. All in all I had a good time on my vacation and just chilled out.

Sounds like you had a great time!
LOL drinking alcohole and smoking cigars, huh? You bad ass boy. That would have been funny being pulled up by those metal detector things, I remember one time I went to a musical concert and they had to test us, mine beeped loud on my cellphone, and I said, "Oh yeah, that's my gun" The guy gave me the evilest look Glad you had a good time!
