Ah yes - the peep hole - that is correct - I was just thinking that there was no particular emphasis on the keys. Just the vacant apartment -

i'm sure they meant something by the keys... maybe that a part of them will always be w/ the apartment? i dunno... so sad that it's over.... seems like there's so much more that could happen

Yeah i liked how they sent them off to the coffee shop, but the empty apartment and keys represents that it is over, no longer will they be walking through that familiar door. it was supposed to give that sense of closure (the writers and producers couldnt actually write a fairwell, it was too sad for them to attempt)

Well said, Iced. I liked that it had them going to the coffee shop too. I thought it was a great way to end the show. Although I agree that it hasn't been as good, at least at times, over the last few years, I've always enjoyed it and the characters always gave me some great laughs.

I'll miss it. Now the only good sitcom left is Everybody Loves Raymond. The others aren't as good...

Have you ever watched King of Queens? It really is a funny show. It's a spin-off of Everybody Loves Raymond.
I have the Friends episode on Tivo. I haven't watched it yet. I watched the show before it, where they were showing all the old clips. They were very funny.

I love King of Queens, Kevin James is awsome! I liked how the played Yellow Ledbetter as they found out there were at the wrong airport. That's what I like about movies or TV shows - it takes a moment like that to show you just how amazing an old song is. I had been quite a while since I last heard Yellow Ledbetter.

ditto on both parts....
King of Queens is some funny shit and I had never thought about how Yellow Ledbetter would be appropriate for a situation, but it seemed to fit perfectly. that's, without a doubt, my favorite PJ song... alot better than Black, the song from which the guitar part is partially derived.

I absolutely LOVED Friends. It was a favorite of mine. I watched it and was so glad that Ross and Rachel got together in the end.
Steve, the episode you are referring to is when Rachel sold Joey this satchel style bag for an audition and then he kept wearing it, not realizing how gay it looked. It was a good episode.

nah.... I don't like King Of Queens... there are better sitcoms than it: 70's show and My Wife and Kids, for example, are better.

I would watch it if nothing else was on. It got on my nerves most of the time. I am not too much into sitcoms. I used to love the show Freaks and Geeks, that was funny to me. To each thier own, I am more into shows like "Sex and the City" and "Six feet under" etc....

I really have not watched Friends that much over the past few years. It was on up against Survivor. But about 6 months ago we started getting both the east and west coast feeds of the major networks so I was able to catch Friends on the west coast feed at 11:00 pm. They really had some funny scenes.
King of Queens, however, I watch every week. Ben Stiller's father (I can't think of his first name) is sooo funny on that show.
