Julie, I'm so sorry to hear about Mary.
 You and Mary as well as the rest of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.  IMO, Jen gave you some great advice. When my friend had a miscarriage earlier this year, I did my best to be there for her to she needed a friendly ear. You'd be surprised how it helps someone to get an unexpected phone call or a card in the mail. I know it always makes me feel better when that happens to me.
