ok, let's see if I can remember everthing, I'll just do the most memorable and the most recent (since I started w/Creed in 2002)
The Who "82 - as far as I can remember "great" lol Eagle's "95 - AWESOME Pink Floyd "95 - AWESOME Page & Plant "95 - AWESOME I've been to others b4 and after these like: Boston - my first ever concert when I was 13 in "78 Narareth ZZ Top Ted Nugent Judas Priest - 1984, saw them the day I found out I was pregnant..lol REO Speedwagon - have seen twice in my lifetime Styx Def Leppard Ok, the above list were concerts from my distant past, I think there were more, but damn if I can remember them right now, so on to the present: 2002: Creed - 6 times - All of them as awesome as the next, they rock my world!! lol Incubus - awesome Disturbed - totally awesome, what can I say!! Godsmack - totally kick ass!! NYE in Orlando 2003: Disturbed - May - totally kick ass, again XFest - May - a ton of great bands, the one's I especially loved were Audioslave, Cold Godsmack - June - even more kick ass than NYE!! the day I got home from CreedFeed Fest Foo Fighters - July - Great show!! Ozzfest - July - awesome, Disturbed and Korn were great, Ozzy did a great job too, made me laugh, he's soo cute (for an old guy) Metallica - July - they were awesome, didn't even bother to watch Stinkin Park or Limp Dickless, my kid was so bumbed when Deftones didn't play, Mudvayne was ok, but domes suck for concerts And the BEST so far this year, last Monday nite 8-11-03...A Perfect Circle...still not off that rock n roll high from that show!! Love Maynard James Keenan!! Am off to Utah either Monday or Tuesday for Lollapalooza, to see A Perfect Circle again YAY!!!! and also to see Incubus and...AUDIOSLAVE And last, but not least, for now anyways is 3DD, Trapt and Seether on the 31st at the fair... WHEW!! I'm not sure if I've remembered them all, but that's as much as this mush brain can remember for now. Rock On All!!! I'm sure you're all glad I'm done babbling, but "Who luvs you all, Baby?"

LMAO, Luvscott! Very cool list indeed. Oh, and I'm so glad you enjoyed APC so much. I'm so bummed I missed them in Philly (frigging WORK )....
Oh, and I would like to add Radiohead to my *great* list. I'm still buzzing from that show. AMAZING stuff; they are incredible live. Two-plus hours and they played three of my all-time favorite songs., I was soooo psyched. Thom Yorke is really animated on stage. Plus, he plays guitar, keyboards and bongos! This show just blew my mind. I'm still replaying the songs in my head. There must have been 20,000+ people there, too. Awesome, awesome, awesome show. I would pay anything to see these guys again!

WOW
Some of you go to a ton of concerts I went to a bunch ages ago....old bands like Genisis, Blondie, John Denver, Elvis Costello, Marshall Tucker Band etc.... Then I got married and had kids and went into a kind of music black cloud...listened to kiddie stuff all the time Now that I'm back among the living.... Creed 2 times...including the awesome NYE show (on the rail ) Summer Sanitarium Metallica, what can I say. The Best ...although Linkin Park was okay the rest of the line-up was pretty poor. Lollapalooza Audio Slave Chris Cornell.... Great Show Jane's Addiction...very good ...campy but rocked Incubus...very good The Donnas surprisingly okay The Distillers...not impressed The Boss....Bruce Springsteen.... He's the man. OMG What a show. As you can see....I have a lot of concert going to do to catch up with you guys. Now that I've found someone who likes to go to the same shows I do (YEAH DOGSTAR ) I intend to go to a lot more.

tupelocreedfan, my list is almost a carbon copy of yours. So, I knew we had to be around the same age and not only that we are from the same state. I live in Jackson, Ms. I also work in the medical field, I'm a respiratory therapist(for15years) And I love creed. Saw them for the first time on the weathered tour in New Orleans at the new orleans arena(GREAT arena-best ventilation system I have EVER been to-not smokey at all) and of course the BEST live concert I have ever witnessed-love it. Back in the 80's BonJovi was the band for me. And the best live show that I saw back then was Def Leppard by far-AWESOME show.

Said Eyes...go by yourself if you really want to see someone. If the music is worth it, you'll enjoy yourself. I've been to many concerts alone because most of my friends don't like the music I like. ('Course, now I have njcreedite as my new concert buddy ) I'd rather go than miss the opportunity for a great show!

luvscott4ever: that list is amazing......
Best live show ever: Tool in November '02 Truly a spritual experience. I was to young to see Floyd tour and I'm holding out for Waters to rejoin and then go on a farewell tour, but don't think that's happening. Best rock concert, most fun: Pearl Jam. They are one of the greatest rock bands in the 90's.... They put on an amazing live show. Vedder still has it and McCready is just the man. They always put together one hell of a setlist. Metallica: One else do I need to say, it was Metallica. Creed x10 or so.... I followed them around tallahassee when they started out. Bunch of smaller bands... i.e. saliva, finger 11(they kick ass), social burn... ect. ect. Bands I want to see - Pink Floyd - I can hope Radiohead Coldplay A perfect Circle.... realllllllly want to see them. |
