Yeah tantric toured with creed.
I like their mourning song.

Who do you think you are?
Who do you think you are?
You all sound the same, With nothing to say. We say your an actor!."

Tantric toured w/Creed?? Wow. Didn't know that.

And hide_tremonti, Astounded is a kick-ass song! I forgot all about that one.

Yes, Tantric was with Creed very early in the tour last year.

I saw Tantric along with Brett's band Virgos last year on the tour, it was great. But I did enjoy Course of Nature and 12 Stones better. Then I saw Jerry Cantrell the last 2 times with Creed, I felt his music did not match Creed's at all, it was very dark and depressing(Sorry Dogstar!:embarass: ) I just did not care for him, I liked Alice and Chains better. When he sang Alice in Chains music it got the crowd somewhat reved up but he really got booed a lot on the stage both times I saw him, felt bad for him

I like 12 stones as well. I didn't care for Cinder, they opened with them in September of last year. Cinder wasn't just horrible or anything, but they weren't my favorite. Saliva was great, too. They got everyone really pumped.

I think his label did him a disservice by matching him up with Creed. I don't know many Creed fans who like Jerry C (Debs4Creed does) What bugs me about people who won't give Jerry C a chance is that he was largely responsible for Alice's beautiful harmonies and overall sound and for a good chunk of the lyrics, though Layne Staley and the other members also chipped in with the writing duties. I know we all have different tastes, but the man is talented and did not deserve to be booed. That bums me out. . I saw him with Creed, too, and though the crowd wasn't enthusiastic, at least they didn't boo. And luckily for me, I hooked up with some Jerry fanatics who were chanting his name throughout. We were all singing his new songs. The crowd did get pumped up for the Alice songs, though, which was good. Sorry to go on for so long, but I'm as nuts about Jerry and AIC as I am about Creed .

I did like 12 Stones, though. I thought they were fun.

Yeah I felt real bad for him, he was in rough shape the first time I saw him, it was Layne Stanley's birthday and he was REAL bummed out. I think he was 2 shades to the wind as well which did not help matters any. the second time I saw him it was a week later and I think he recognized me in the front of the pit, he looked at me and smiled, cause we were cheering him on. I really did feel bad for him, I did not care for his music but.....he certainly did not deserve booed off the stage! I do like the song "Something rising" Can't remember the name exactley but I did like it.

LOL, Anger Rising...me, too! If you liked Anger Rising, download Angel Eyes, Solitude, Gone...they are more mellow and less heavy on the grinding guitar riffs. Really pretty songs.

Wow, that's a bummer on Layne's B'day...8/22, yes? I would imagine he'd tie one on for that. I saw him a few days later and he kicked ass. Also saw him twice on his headlining tour. Awesome shows!

Considering the fact that I'd already said that, that was pretty dumb...just kidding, Tremontichik!! Love the name by the way. Are you looking to be a secret agent?? (006, 007,...ah, whatever.)
