the QOTSA guitarist (the one that looks like a nazi) LOL slagged off Creed saying he just doesn't want a breakup but a death. But yeah their music is preddy good and certainly something different. I'ld get their record just for Grohl's drumming (songs for the deaf).

LMAO, there are so many haters out there, but I still love QOTSA. I got into them because Dave Grohl was on Songs For The Deaf. Hide, definitely pick it up, it rocks. I liked it so much that I got their other albums as well. Really good stuff! Today's lineup: Temple of the Dog Alice In Chains -- Unplugged Tantric 12 Stones Pearl Jam -- Binaural

Dogstar what do you think of Binuaral? Its by far my least fav PJ album but compared to what is out there currently it still is preddy good. People tell me that Rated R is better then Songs for the Deaf. I would buy songs for the deaf simply for dave grohl and i might like it.
anyhow cds in my stereo Tool-Lateralus Creed-Human Clay Pearl Jam-Live Perth 2003 (official boot)

I know lots of people don't like Binaural that much, but I love it. It has really gotten in my head. I love Nothing As It Seems, and man, was that song kick-ass trippy live!!! Other faves on that one are Insignificance, Grievance, Thin Air and Sleight of Hand. And you're right, compared to what the labels are shoving down our throats these days, it beats a lot of stuff. I have been playing Binaural a ton lately (along with Vitalogy, my very fave PJ album). Rated R is really, really good, and it definitely is right up there with Songs for the Deaf. I think you would like it . I love them both, but I just got Rated R, so I have been playing that one a lot, hehe. Good, good stuff!
Right now, I'm listening to Chevelle -- Point #1. I believe this was their first album and it sounds very Tool-like.

so Julie who's your fav christian band? Third Day is easily no.1 for me. Dogstar seems like your almost as big as PJ fan as me you should join me at http://forums.pearljam.com. Creed is not their fav band but if there are more of us who love both some may change. NAIS is much better live for me but Light Years off that album is PJ's best song period probably followed by Long Road.

LOL, hide...I have enough trouble keeping up with the Creed and Jerry Cantrell boards (major, major AIC fan, in case you haven't noticed). I've thought about going over there, but man, as I said, I can't keep up as it is. Light Years is awesome, too. I also love Parting Ways...something about the vibe in that song...can't quite put my finger on it, but I love it.
