St. Louis Cardinals: Division Champs!
ahhhh, thanks to the North Side Chumps losing today, the Cardinals have become the first team this season to secure the division title and a playoff spot. it's so wonderful watching 'em beat the living hell out of the rest of the Central, with the Chubs and 'Stros wayyyyyyyy out.

Dont know, i dont follow baseball. All I do know is that my Texans beat the Raiders and the Chiefs.

ehhhh, the chiefs and raiders both suck this year... but the texans are among my preferred teams..... but baseball still rules all. i'm not paying that close attention to the nfl 'til the world series is over.

that was quite surprising, too, how the braves ran away w/ the east. everyone was thinking phillies or marlins this year (myself included), but alas, ATL came back for #13... i'd say both teams (Cards & Braves) got a good deal over the winter.... we got Ray King & Jason Marquis (& Adam Wainwright); Braves got J.D. Drew & Eli Marrero. Marquis ended up being our 2nd best starter behind Chris Carpenter. King gave us 2 lefties in the 'pen (along w/ Steve Kline). Plus, we got rid of J.D. Drew. He was injured so damn often, I and many other people I know began to wonder if he just didn't like playing in St. Louis. And not big injuries; he'd sit out games w/ little freak shit. Thank God he's gone, fucking pansy. But, hey, he's actually good when he plays a full season (or the vast majority of it). And from what I can remember, Eli was doing a pretty decent job as well, filling in spot roles.
