23 January 2003: Lips *NSYNC with Justin Timberlake on Top Of The Pops
The Lips recorded their maiden appearance on the BBCs world famous TV show Top Of The Pops today. Tune in tomorrow, Friday 24 January, to see the Lips perform 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (Part 1)' with guest bassist/dolphin JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. Top Of The Pops weren't quite sure what hit them, but Justin Timberlake was pretty sure he wanted to have some fun and be part of it. In doing so, he helped to make a moment that had been a long time coming all the more unique... Hahaha. Flamining Lips are really an indie band on a majro label, which expects to get dropped after each album but for some wierd reason doesnt. Great band thou.
