Have you noticed...
...that some of the lyrics in the booklet are different from what is actually said?
Ex. What's This Life For Booklet= "I see your soul, it kind of gray, I see your heart, you look away" CD= "I see your soul, it kind of gray, You see my heart, you look away" there are other that I can't think of right now, I know "Inside Us All" has a few

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I can't think anything specific at the moment but I'll check it out later.

Or,
Bullets (booklet): "Walking around I hear the earth seeking relief." Bullets on CD: "Walking around I hear the sound of the earth seeking relief." With Sister, they rereleased it under Wind-up with the old lyrics from BCR: "Little girl, Little girl/Now realize, little girl." |

Even though this doesn't really pertain to the booklet/CD topic, Scott sometimes changes the lyrics to Pity for a Dime when they perform it live. Instead of "See the sea of people/All their faces look the same", he changes it to "Their faces never look the same." Seems hypocritical. He does this in the Boston, Milwaukee and Madrid bootlegs.
Of course, before they ever recorded Young Grow Old in studio, they did that one live too. This time, whole lines were changed between the stage and the recording studio. It's difficult to tell what the old lyrics are, since they do happen to be bootlegs |

yeah I noticed that Pity For a Dime thing on one of the live versions I downloaded.
there are a few differences on the My Own Prison acoustic compared to the regular version Regular= I hear a thunder in the distance, see a vision of a cross Acoustic= I hear a thunder in the distance, see a vision of the cross Regular= Shackled by my sentence, expecting no return Acoustic= Shackled by my sentence, accepting no return (those are only small differences, but oh well)

...not to mention the lyrical differences between the normal and acoustic Is This the End.
But now we're just getting picky |
