The Chair ( a brothers burden)
about my brother who seems spiritualy dead and has no social life and hasnt fully transitioned into adulthood despite being 22. hes no diferent now than he was in High school as far as social life and responsibilties , and having a job.
The Chair shaking off the dust is a matter of letting go so much a part of you must cucifie the old Put on the new man the image of Christ surrendering the fear that is locking you inside Get up from your chair the world spins faster with each vacant stare get out of your chair your life passes by when your waiting there alone (wasting away) alone Dont take it out on me hearing the truth I speak Ive wasted many years so much that was so near so you want to wash away the pain of yesterday why not embrace the present getting lost in the gift so you can forget Get up from your chair the world spins faster with each vacant stare get out of your chair your life passes by when your waiting there alone (wasting away) alone I've heard your story it doesnt seem fair but neither is denying yourself of the world your not the only one whose missing out when you choose the safety when you choose the chair |
