Regular Kazaa has "spyware"... when you install Kazaa it automatically installs other programs on your computer without your knowledge (unless you actually read all those license agreement things). It monitors your internet usage and all that other good "spy" stuff.

I would recommend uninstalling Kazaa, then downloading a program called Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ - get the shareware/freeware version). Ad-aware will rid your computer of "spyware" programs that aren't as easy to get rid of (just uninstalling won't do the trick).

Once you have done the above two in that order, download Kazaa Lite and follow the install directions. You can get it from http://www.kazaalite.com
