"Lumped Sweetness"

“Lumped Sweetness”

My figure may not be model thin
I’m no Marilyn Monroe
Wearin’ a bikini
For a day at the beach
Well… that’s more skin than I want to show…

My heart’s as big as Texas…
Comfortable to be around
Look inside this
“Lumped Sweetness”…
‘Cause I’m worth it,
pound for pound…

Do my best to dress for success
Flat shoes fit my comfort zone
On “off days” I’m seen
Wearin’ T-shirts and jeans…
Life’s all about feelin’ at home

I am what the good Lord made me
More than most people see…
Inside and out, I’m all woman
Take a good look
Into me…

My heart’s as big as Texas…
Comfortable to be around
Look inside this
“Lumped Sweetness”…
‘Cause I’m worth it,
pound for pound…

authors note:
back in the 1800's..."lumped sweetness" was the words used to describe ladies of size..kind of had a good ring to it, and inspired these lyrics....
Hope it doesn't offend anyone.

You will forever remain the music
And I…the song you sing
