I think this has to be one of the greatest poems around! It really helped me in a very hard time. I had a 3 rd grade classmate die in a car accident in 96 See I moved away from that town in the middle of my 3rd grade year and I lost touch with most of the kids I went to school with. But when I heard about his accident in the paper I recognized him from my class. I had a difficult time dealing with it but I became friends with his sister and hung out at there house and got to know his family. In a letter that his Dad sent me it had this poem in it, so everytime I read this poem I think of him
His name was Ryan Beek and he was only 16 when he died
