Taking blame for past transgressions
Throws shadow upon future expression
Kill the ego….attempt to tame
Set you free…ease the pain
Will it thaw the wintry freeze
Of those you’re seeking to appease?
For if they cared…they’d understand…
We always do the best we can
There are times we make mistakes…
What’s real in life is not opaque
Seen with crystal clarity…
Accepted with humility
With understanding…one forgives
