Taking lift on angel’s wing,
Enrapturing me with a solitary note,
Across the blood red sky it floats.

I answer back with a sad song,
Of loneliness and carrying on,
Of faded kisses in the summertime,
Remembered with verses in rhyme.

Every night I imagine hearing your soft voice,
Leaving you go was not my choice.
Tasting again your sun-bathed lips,
Feeling again your hands upon my tan hips.

I sing to you of deepest sorrow,
Seeping deeper by the morrow,
Making me remember you,
